Speaking Engagements

Teaching and educating about issues in the mental health world are important to us.  We currently offer the following presentations, and are happy to talk with you and meet the needs of what more you may be looking for if you have something specific in mind.

Who am I?  And who are you?

Culture is all around us, do you know where you have come from?  Every person we meet comes with their own culture, and how we interact shows the respect and support we have for others.  Our own biases are often built because of the culture we are in.  Come and explore your own culture, so you can open your eyes to the experiences and joys of other cultures as well.

Demystifying the Gender Unicorns

Understanding the differences in gender identity, expression, biological sex, and attraction. Learn what terms are being used and what impact you can have in supporting and minimizing mental health issues in LGBTQ+ individuals

Self Care vs Self Pampering

Why self care is doing the hard work and why it’s so hard for helpers to help themselves.

Chronic Pain and How We Cope

If you or a loved one lives with a chronic illness or chronic pain, it can be hard to understand and plan a life around.  Sometimes, we must find awareness before we can accept what chronic pain is.  This presentation includes mindfulness and meditation activities
